Overhaul

I need a makeover. Well, not me in particular... Hold on, I take that back. I personally need one too. You know, a little manicure, trainer, tanning, personal shopper, teeth whitener... Yeah, come to think of it, I could use an overhaul... but I digress.

My BLOG needs a serious makeover. Those two adorable kids in the header are both much older than their pictures. I want 3 columns instead of two and I would really love for my page to not be dookie colored. Now if you know me in real life for all of 5 seconds you will discover one true thing about me. I cannot make a decision. Not for the life of me! Hence the reason I have had the same blog page that I really don't care for since I started almost a year ago.

I want to update, look snazzy, add some pizazz and flair. The problem, again, is that I have no idea what I want. Or who to do it... I got Publisher program to help me with all this, but frankly I have no idea how to use the sucker. I want one of those cute little headers not my big honkin one.... So does anyone out in bloggy universe got some suggestions. Show some love people.

I'm not sure what she charges (can't imagine it's much) but Heather did my blog (free cause I got the family discount) and I love it. If you want to see some of the other ones she has done, click on the C&H design button in my sidebar!

I had someone do mine for me. I just picked out the paper packet and she literally did the rest...it was so easy. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but I liked what I saw so it worked out perfectly for me!

You can look at mine if you want- I did it myself because I just couldn't bring myself to pay for one, lol. And I cheated, meaning I didn't use any code at all! Let me know if you would like me to email you telling you how i did it, I'd be glad too.

You can see if you can find something you want in free templates.... I want to re-do mine as well... but I don't want to have to put all of the stuff from my side bars again.... sigh... think it is going to have to wait a while.

Good luck!

I changed mine to a 3 column on my own with the help of Jill over at Sneaky Momma. She has all kinds of tips for tweaking your page. She has a header help on making your own header too. Im a beginning beginner and I was able to mess around and do mine myself, it was pretty easy. Hope this helps!

I did mine myself... thanks to the Blog Doctor website, a tutorial I found on thecutestblogontheblock.com, photoshop, and a friend who knows a teeny bit about HTML. I say start by using a background from TCBOTB and go from there as you learn more.

Let me know what you find out and what seems easiest. I want 3 columns too. I'm going to look into some of the suggestions you've got so far!

It's not dookie colored, it's pumpkin pie.

Tara at Blog Makeovers By Tara designed my blog. All I did was picked out the paper packet. Her prices are pretty reasonable. I think someone told me that her prices were pretty cheap compared to others. You can check out her designs by clicking on her button on my blog. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks for visiting me! And I agree with everyone else - I love cutestblogontheblock's designs! And theirs are the easiest to copy over. I have a wonderful friend who has photoshop and made my header for me. I change mines with the seasons or holidays!
