Wow! You were busy! Did your kids help? Yeah, right! I would probably make a pie and then freeze the rest to enjoy during the winter but then I usually look for the easy solution!

Blueberries - YUM! My mom would drag us to all ends of the earth during the summer to pick berries. It is actually one of my favorite things to remember about growing up. And I loved picking blueberries because they were so EASY! ;)

I usually make a dessert with the blueberries, use some on cereal, and then freeze the rest. My kids love frozen blueberries in yogurt. I love muffins. :)

Have a great Wednesday!

Oh my goodness, those look delicious!! If you can't use up all the blueberries, you can always just freeze them...they tast great straight out of the freezer, and you can save them for later that way too!

Have a great Wednesday!

blueberries are on my top 5 favorite fruits list.

i don't have any recipes right on hand for them... but we always freeze a whole lot of them and eat them through the winter... in smoothies or baking. they don't thaw well to eat fresh after being frozen, but they're great for cooking etc.

try googling for blueberry syrup (for pancakes yum!)
blueberry muffins
hmmmm... maybe blueberry bread?

whatever the case, they will all be yummy!

Blueberry picking is my absolute favorite! I am unfortunatly going to miss it this year but my mouth is watering just looking at those.

On Martha Stewars website there is a blueberry muffin recipe and it is the best one out there. They are like store bought and you can freez them. Also, Cooking Light has a great open top blueberry pie. Or we just love them frozen or in pancakes.

Happy Blueberry eating :)

I'd give my right arm (okay, maybe my left) for those blueberries!! I've got a jam and sauce to put up for winter, along with a ton to freeze, and they are $1.50/pint here!!! Ridiculous!! If you need a jam or sauce recipe, or tips for freezing, just give me a holler.

Yummmm!!!!
Have a lovely week!

Blueberries!!! Can you ship them? I'll pay you shipping and handling!!! Oh, I jest---kind of. I would love fresh blueberries and wish I could grow them here. But it's much too hot. You could make blueberry pancakes, cobbler, cake, muffins. Oh, and you can make preserves. It's very easy to do.

they are very good in a bake...

Just take butter (start with a stick or two), flour (a cup or two), sugar (to taste - I use about 1/2 to 1 C), cinnamon, a little ginger and mix it up til it "pills"... just add ingredients to taste... it's pretty hard to mess it up... and if you don't have enough to cover (below), just mix up more...

Preheat to about 350.

spray the bottom of a pyrex with cooking spray, then pour in blueberries, and maybe some thinly sliced apples, then crumble the mixture above over the top...

bake til it turns golden brown, and enjoy...

Also VERY good with cranberries as well...

Mmm... yummy! I love blueberries. Well, you can send me some and then make blueberry pancakes, muffins, cookies?, milkshakes, smoothies... I saw someone said pie, but I don't like blueberry pie. Oh, this isn't about me! Okay, so pie, on cereal, in yogurt! Okay, now you can freeze the rest.
